What Does Endometrial Thickness Of 14mm Post Abortion Indicate?
My name is Ramya when I was 6 weeks 1day pregnant my baby will aborted by eating pineapple then I ll go to hospital she take a scan in that there is no particals of before baby she said there is thickened endometrium is 14 mm is there is any problem to my next baby,
Acceptable range of endometrial thickness is between 8 and 11 mm. Endometrial thickness of 14 mm is more than the normal acceptable range. A thickened endometrial lining following abortion or miscarriage is a normal finding.
Women who are clinically stable with a thickened endometrium after the expulsion of the gestational sac usually do not need any further treatment. It is not known to cause any problems with future pregnancy. However, kindly do the necessary follow-up as advised by your doctor in this regard.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
