Welcome to Health care magic.

Enteritis or ileum is inflammation / infection of the bowel - which will be seen on the computer tomography as thickened bowel wall with adjacent fat stranding.
On contrast enhanced computer tomography - there will be enhancement of the thickened area.

If you had a familial history of malignancy, suggest you to get the marker test for cancer.

Treatment in this case will be finer diet ( avoid spicy and junk food) plenty of water, stool softeners and a course of antibiotics will help. If symptoms persists a guided BIOPSY will be needed, depending on the finding - surgery might be needed.

Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
