What Does Excessive Tiredness And Low Blood Sugar Levels Indicate?
My partner has been sleeping a lot lately. He is always tired and does not know what is wrong. He wakes up and has trouble staying up. He has had trouble with low blood sugar in the past. He is always hungry and can t get enough to eat. Does not gain weight. Also while sleeping he twitches quite a bit. Sometimes very strongly. Could there be something medically wrong with him?
Hello. Thanks for writing to HCM. I read and understand your question very well. I try my best to help you in this.
As your friend have excessive tiredness and low blood sugar level , this may be due to various causes like insufficient intake of food, insulinoma , hormonal imbalance, anemia etc. You can do CBC(complete blood count) and serum B12 to rule out causes.
I suggest you to consult a good physician for this.
I hope my advice will help you a lot. Thanks and Regards. Dr Vijay
