What Does Faint Line In Pregnancy Test Indicate While On Implanon?
I m on the implanon and my belly is bloated and hard as a rock. For the last week every morning I wake up im nauseated. So I called the health department and the nurse said to take a pregnancy test so I did and it came back positive. But the line is kinda faint. What does this mean?
There are 2 explanations for this: 1. There is an early pregnancy or a missed abortion and hence the line is faint. 2. it is a false positive.
The best way to confirm is by using a blood test to estimate the actual hormone levels in blood. If it is positive then pregnancy is there. Sometimes a missed abortion [ baby is not alive inside] also gives a faint line and low blood levels. In this case an ultrasound scan may be needed for confirmation.
So kindly get a blood test done as soon as possible to clarify matters. Hope this satisfies your query. Thanks for using HCM. Feel free to ask any more questions that you may have. Dr Madhuri Bagde Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist
