What Does Faint Positive Line In HPT With No Signs In Ultrasound Suggest?

Hi.. I took home pregnancy kit and it was positive with a faint line.. Aftr 3 days i bleed with brown color for 2 days.. After 2 days I went to my OB to check if im pregnant or what then she check by ultrasound but she cant see nothing.. She prescribe me duphuston for 1 week.. What does it mean? Im really pregnant or what? Help pls!

1.The faint line is never a confirmatory, more over urine pregnancy test has 97% accuracy according to the study. So the faint line indicates no pregnancy in your case.
2.you had an ultrasound examination but reveals no findings - definitive diagnosis that there is no intrauterine pregnancy.
3.If you can get a blood BHCG levels that is also an confirmatory with number of weeks this also helps to rule out ectopic.
4.Urine pregnancy test is accurate after a missed period.
5.The result could be false positive / ectopic. wait for couple of weeks and repeat the urine pregnancy test. Good luck.
