What Does Fainting Mean After Donating Blood?

My roommate fainted after giving blood. They revived her, but she came back to the room, ate something, and fell asleep. She woke up briefly and said she felt cold. I told her to put her legs above her head and lay on her back, but she didn't. I'm wondering if there's anything I should do, or if I should just let her sleep it off.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Post blood donation, mild hypotension leading on to dizziness is common.
2. Not to worry. If she takes plenty of fluids, it will improve her blood pressure.
3. Adequate rest along with nutritional supplements should help.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
I find this answer helpful
