First, a glucometer is not a very good device to diagnose
diabetes. To maintain a watch on the control yes, but not to diagnose. The report varies by plus/minus 10 (minimum).
So i would suggest you check FBS, PPBS and
HbA1C once in a lab.
Assuming the reports are still around 108, I would think of
Impaired fasting glucose and suggest diet control and moderate physical exercise and weight control in a patient of mine
