What Does Fever Along With Diarrhea, Nausea And Vomiting Indicate?

I had all the symptoms of the flu aches and pains, fever, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting and headache, The symptoms came on with in 3-6 hours. Went to urgent care took swab was negative, Fever broke in 24 hours, I feel washed out but better 24 hours later. They prescribed Tamiflu, I have taken two so far. with the horror story s I have heard concerning this flu, Could I actually have it? Should I continue to take the Tamiflu. What else is going around,

Hello,

You can continue Tamiflu. It helps make the symptoms (such as stuffy nose, cough, sore throat, fever/chills, aches, and tiredness) less severe and shortens the recovery time by 1 to 2 days.

This medication is also used to prevent the flu if you have been exposed to someone who already has the flu (such as a sick household member) or if there is a flu outbreak in the community.
