General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understand your concern.
Fever is a body's response to some infection./ physical stress. Infection can be Bacterial, viral, fungal
Fever in pregnancy is to be avoided in pregnancy. It brings about weakness/ stress to maternal body & so affects fetal growth also.
from the information given by you , I feel your fever is due to problem in injection site, You have taken Dolo 650 mg . It must have reduced pain to some extent.
In such patients I usually advice-
- tab Eltocin 500 mg twice a day.
- Tab, Ibuprofen paracetamol 400 mg Twice a day,
- Tab B complex once a day.
- Tab Ranitidine 150 mg twice a day.
All the medicines are to be taken after food & Twelve hourly. Usually given for 5 days.
- Fomentation/Thrombophobe ointment can be applied on the inflamed area.
Please consult your doctor before starting medication. He will exclude formation of an injection abscess.
Thanks
