What Does 'fibrotic Lesion In Right Apex With Apical Pleural Thickening' Mean?

I am 47 years old male. Chest X-ray taken during Annual Health Check up states that " Fibrotic Lesion is seen in right apex with apical pleural thickening. Rest of the lung fields are clear. Bilateral CP angles are clear. Cardiac Size is normal. The bony cage is unremarkable - BK Chand

Hello,
Fibrotic lesions usually means that you have had a prior infection that scarred over as it healed up. These lesions are usually not dangerous but your physician may want to do follow up xrays on it to make sure that it is not enlarging.
