What Does Fluid In Adnexa And PCOS Mean?

I went for a scan and I was just told a couple of days ago that I have PCOS, I was told I have two cysts and 12 immature follicles. I have also been told that I have a fluid in my adnexa. Could you explain what this means and can it be cured? I am quite worried. Please explain.
