What Does Fluid In Cervical Canal During Pregnancy Indicate?

What does it mean to have a small amount of fluid seen within the cervical canal im almost 7 weeks pregnant a doctor said this may reflect impending spontaneous abortion the doctor said the fetal pole measures 6 weeks 3 days by crown rump but the gestational sac appears to be small for dates measuring approximately 5 weeks 4 days my baby heartbeat was 128 bpm is their a possibility that my baby can still survive oh and ive been having a little bleeding not heavy though and no cramps and my cervix is closed

Hi,
Bleeding in early pregnancy with sonographic findings you are informing, indicates early pregnancy with thretend abortion.The pregnancy may be small due to delayed conception also, so don't worry.
This is mostly due to less hormones ( progesteron) in early months & is controlled/ pregnancy saved if hormones are replaced earliest.
-You should start taking rest. avoid physical/psychological stress.
- start tab, Duphaston 19 mg. 12 hourly
- consult a gynecologist to confirm the dose of hormone after examining you.& follow instructions given there after.
