Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

The report finding in left adnexa cyst with time are as follows

1. 3.2 cm x 2.4 cm x 1.8 cm in Oct 2011 MRI Volume: 13.824 cc
2. 2.4 cm x 1.7 cm x 3.1 cm in Nov 2013 MRI Volume: 12.648 cc
3. 2.7 cm x 1.3 cm x 2.1 cm in June 2013 TVS Volume: 7.371 cc
4. 4.9 cm x 2.2 cm x 3.1 cm in May 2014 TVS Volume: 33.418 cc

From the above it can be seen that The MRI scans done in Oct 2011 and Nov 2013 show almost the same size and therefore there was no significant growth in the size.

IN the TVS measurements the size has slightly increased. This can be due to the overestimation while taking measurements or can also be slight increase in size due to fluid collection. I suggest a follow up TVS scan at present and confirmation of the size of cyst.

However, it is certainly a benign cyst which is very slow growing. Any intervention is needed only if you have symptoms like pain or menstrual disturbances.
