General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Gliosis is a reactive change (non-specific) of glial cells in response to damage to the central nervous system (CNS). It will affect which area it is present.

It is like scar tissue. It may trigger Convolutions. A temporal area having hearing and sensory speech area may affect. What is your complaints, why you took MRI brain? If your details will guide you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr C.ELANCHEZHIAN, General & Family Physician
