What Does Hardness Around A Dog Bite Wound Indicate?

My daughter was bit by a dog the other day on her side. Dog had all shots. It broke the skin. She went to dr. Got tetanus shot and antibiotics. It is healing fine, but she is concerned about some hardness under the bite that has developed. What could this be and what should we do about it if anything? thanks

Hello! Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

There is nothing to worry. It will heal soon, you keep applying the regular ointments as prescribed. Soon it will be fine on its own.

Take care
