General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It’s due to effects of hormonal actions of the drug. It’s quite common especially immediately after mirena insertion. Generally it will settle by it own even without any treatment. You can take analgesics like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist for long you can consult with a gynecologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
