What Does Hearing Loss While Having Chest Congestion Suggest?

I have had chest congestion for almost three weeks now, I feel lethargic, and just recently (two days ago) I started to have hearing loss in my left ear which happened after I tilted my head backwards for about a minute and seems to get worse (both ears) when I lean my head forward like I am looking intenly at the ground.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I am sorry for the situation you are in.

Taking into account your history for chest congestion for almost 3 weeks now, felling lethargic and having hear loss in your left ear after tilting your head backwards, I highly advise to:
- consult with ENT specialist for further evaluation
- get further cardiac and neurological examinations to rule out post-accident complications.

For the moment, I advise to:
- increase fluids intake
- take OTC anti-inflammatory medications

Hope it was of help!
