General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.I understand your concern.
Heavy bleeding at late thirties is many a times due to hormonal imbalance... it can also be due to other few conditions which need to be excluded. Your doctor has rightly started with hormones after taking a biopsy.usg uterus would exclude uterine /ovarian problems.
At present stopping of bleeding should be first priority. Take rest along with the medicines prescribed &if no responce you should consult your treating doctor /go to ER ..
Thanks
