What Does Hematoma After A Fall Indicate?

Fell bike riding 7 days ago, I am female 57, fell on my right hip, still painful to walk, had pelvic x-Ray's, nothing broken, dr. Said hematoma, except bruising to show up, I have been using ice packs, and ibuprofen, and sitting in warm tub.
Could there something else wrong.
