What Does High Level Of Urobilinogen Mean In Children?

my sons urobilinogen was at an 8 at the ER. I see that it should be below 2. They had told me that all his labs were normal. I got my own copy. ER visit a couple of weeks ago. Said he was dehydrated. dizzy, nausa. Now having upper quadrant pain. Should I be concerned with the High level. thank you

High levels of urobilinogen suggests presence of raised levels of unconjugated bilirubin.
Unconjugated bilirubin increases in cases of liver disorder leading to deficiency conjugation of bilirubin.
Thus, complete assessment of liver functions has to be carried out to know the exact status of liver functions.
