what is the normal size of cervix of a 38 years old and what is the meaning of homogeneous echopattern ........my doctor told me my cervix measures 1.66 x2.46 x2.90cm with homogeneous echopattern..no adnexa or culdesac pathology..............what does mean....thx

Thanks for writing to HCM

You have absolutely normal findings.
Normally cervix is homogeneous in echotexture.Whenever there is any lesion in cervix then its echogenesity becomes heterogeneous.
Your cervix length is normal.
Both adnexa also appears normal.
POD is also normal.
