General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the hypoechoic cystic lesion in ovary with irregular menses do indicate possible issue with
- Benign ovarian cyst (follicular)
- Endometrioma
- Others

However, an ultrasound guided biopsy is a must in this regard for the final diagnosis and cure accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
