What Does Hypoechoic Solid Tissue Mass In Left Adnexal Region Of Uterine Fundus Suggest?
My u/s findings: there is an 8.7 x 5.2 x 5.9 cm well-circumscribed hypoechoic solid tissue mass seen in the left adnexal region, in the region of the uterine fundus. This does not appear to be related to the uterus. There is no fluid contained within the mass and no definite calcifications are seen. The mass is relatively avascular. No free pelvic fluid was seen. The impression does not appear to represent a fibroid or dermoid. I had a history of chocolate cyst that were removed in 1994 and had a severe endometriosis. Could this represent an endometrioma? Or should I be concern that it might be cancer?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern looking to the ultrasonography finding here further investigation is needed and this could be MRI and biopsy, along with this clinical condition need to be correlate with this, hope this information helps, take care.
