What Does Impression Of Kidney Enlargement Of The Fetus Indicate?

Dear Doc, Thanks for looking into my query. Here is what I need to clarify, I am a pregnant lady and Today I went for TIFFA scan. Some of the findings are kind of confusing. There is impression of kidney enlargement of the fetus. Please suggest me advice for further action from my end. Currently the pregnancy period is 20 weeks and 4 days. Thanks, Shivaranjani.

Renaldilation is common finding in anomaly scan.. I need to know the exrent of dilatation.. Dilatation of more than5mm is considered significant.. It requires regularfollow up monthly to know the extent of dilatation.. Mild dilatationwill resolve afterbirth.. only severe dilatation will require treatment.. Hope I have answered your query..
