What does increased markings in lung x Ray mean...my father is coughing like mad for almost 2 years now...no medication is working ...cough increases while lying down ...there is a shadow on lower rt lung too....he s lost 15 kgs in one n half year...am worried as no one is able to diagnose properly ...Plz suggest

Hi I think he is having some chest infections. Also get him evaluated for heart condition. Sometimes heart problems can lead to chronic cough.
