What Does Increasing Pain Behind The Left Collar Bone Indicate?

I have developed, over the past few weeks a pain directly behind my left collar bone and it is increasingly getting worse. Most of the time it in the evening and when I become overly tired for no reason. What should I be examined for? Within the past three months my heart and lung doctor has ran EKG, CT SCAN and etc and say my heart and lungs appear okay. I am 78 years old.

There seems to be some issue with your collar joint. It looks to be a bony element. It would be good if you consult an orthopedic surgeon.
