What Does Indicate A Positive Pregnancy Test One Month After An Abortion?

Initially i had a medical abortion at 2 months which was not effective and then i went for the surgical abortion which according to the doctor, all the tissues were removed. one month down the line, i got a positive pregnancy test. what does that mean?

Thanks for writing.
A positive urine test 4 weeks after the abortion may mean retained pieces.rarely it can be a complicated pregnancy called molar pregnancy. In such a case the blood test may reveal the titres of the pregnancy hormone beta hcg. If the levels are high then further treatment us recommended. Occasionally it can also be a new pregnancy.
