What Does Intense Pain In The Left Buttock, While Walking, Indicate?

I have intens pain in my left buttock when l walk. I have to a doctor and she said l have an infection. She prescribed antibiotics which l have been on for 3 and half days. There has been only marginal releif of pain. Any ideas on what this may be and what l should do?

Hi,

Intense buttock pain when walking indicates particular muscle stretch nerve irritation or else during the particular position of the limbs and back.

After clinical examination, MRI of the concerned area is mandatory to proceed further.
