What Does It Mean By SGPT=64.48 IU/L In A Blood Report?

Hi,iam a Male , 34 yrs old .I recently took my Blood Test ,can you please advise me on my readings: 1) SGPT = 64.48 IU/L 2) SGOT = 48.46 IU/L 3) GGTP = 62.71 IU/L 4) Haemoglobin = 12.6 gms% 5) Blood Glucose Fasting = 100 6) Cholestrol = 192 mgs% 7) HDL = 52.30 mgs% 8) LDL = 99.30 mgs% Thank you very much.

The liver function test profile (SGPT,SGOT,GGTP) is higher than normal reference range,which may be due to an underlying liver pathology like hepatitis,pancreatitis etc.Get evaluated by a local doctor if you have jaundice,abdominal pain,nausea like symptoms.Other reports(Hemoglobin,lipid profile,blood sugar)are within normal limit.I would also advise you to discontinue alcohol containing beverages if you consume.Hope i have answered your query.If any further questions,happy to answer you.Take care.
