put some ice or a cold washcloth on the child's forehead, give them a glass of water, and call the doctor! it could be tachycardia, but i doubt it's a heart attack. some children can experience chest pains, but they're usually related to the muscles in the chest instead of the heart muscle. but they could also have drank too much caffeinated soda or drinks, which causes the heart to beat a lot faster. either way, calm them down, hydrate them, and if it continues, call the doctor
