What Does It Mean When The Scan Says Unremarkable Study?

The uterus is anteverted, non-gravid and normal in size and echo pattern with a normal endometrium. A silver of fluid is noted in the canal. The cervix is closed. Both ovaries normal, and no adnexal mass or collection is present. The urinary bladder and kidneys are unremarkable. Impression: Unremarkable study. Can you explain this result to me please?

Hi,

Your ultrasound scan report shows a normal uterus with minimal fluid in the endometrial canal and normal thickness of endometrial lining. The cervix is normal. The ovaries are normal in size.

The word unremarkable means normal.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vivek Chail, Radiologist
