43 year old male. Itching starting on chest, moving to arms. Next day itching spreading down to legs. No visible signs of rash. Itch is described as similar to an itch experienced after getting sunburned. Similar thing happened a week ago, but did not move down to legs. First time, itch went away after 2 days. Can t think of anything new as far as products used in the home or foods eaten...
since you did not describe any skin changes,you should do standard laboratory tests. look for raise in transaminase or bilirubine,a drop in hemoglobine levels,or a raise in eosinophile levels. if negative ,or until you do those analysis,try antihistaminics.
