What Does Itchy And Red Rashes On The Back Indicate?

Hi In the past year or two I have been getting really back itchyness al on my back, when I would itch it it would turn very red and create small bumps/spots all over my back. Recently the itching has spread to all my legs my head and my neck, once the itch starts it’s very very hard to stop it and I have to scratch the area constantly for a good few minutes before it goes, it’s like an itchy sensation that just won’t go away , i tried to keep track of when it happens it happens in the shower it could happen when my skin is dry or oily i thought it could be the material of my clothes so I started going to bed without a top on and still my back would itch , it happens every 3 or 4 days it happens when I’m stressed but other times I could be really happy and it still happens , it’s really starting to annoy me know and affecting my life please help

There are many possibilities for itchy skin on the back, so I recommend consulting a dermatologist for clinical assessment. Treatment to relieve itching include the following:-

1- Avoid wearing tight clothes.
2- You should dry your skin properly after a shower.
3- Use anti-histamine orally before sleep.
4- You can use steroid medication to relieve itching and skin inflammation.
5- Your doctor will prescribe anti-fungal medications in case of fungal infection.
