What Does Itchy And Watery Eyes Indicate?

Hello. I have very itchy, watery eyes, a nose that won't stop running (clear fluid) and itchy nose and ears. I feel fine. Now, my runny nose is turning into one nostril being blocked completely. I'm not sure if this is the start of a cold or if it's allergies?

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

The symptoms of itchy and watery eyes along with clear discharge from nose and blocked nostril seems to be due to ALLERGIC RHINITIS.

It can be due to causes like allergic reaction to irritants like pollen, animal danders, dust and mites
and at times even certain trees and grasses..

I would suggest you to consult an Emergency room and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like allergic tests can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

You can also take anti allergics like Levocetrizine, Allegra etc along with steroid nasal sprays to relieve
the symptoms..
Do steam inhalations..

Hope this helps..

Regards.
