Hi, for the past few weeks ive been getting really bad itching behind my ears, on parts of my scalp and around my wrists/arms. my skin is quite dry but has never itched like this. there are no bumps or anything though mysteriously on my right arm is a triangle of tiny red bumps that dont itch or hurt but are quite spooky. this itching is not at a specific time and sometimes my jaw becomes really itchy too, can you help? thank you!
your problems appears to be of the Skin fungal infection with Allergy (urticaria). So many times the skin behind the ear get infected due to persistant sweat and falling of dandruff over that area from scalp. I suggest you to wash the area 3-4 times daily with soap water and apply some anti-fungal cream over it. In addition would suggest you to take anti-allergic medicine like tab. Cetrizine 10mg once daily PO for few days. If the problem persists I will suggest you to seek an opinion of Dermatologist. Hope this answers your query. Thanks and Regards. Dr Nandu Kolwadkar
