Hi,

Itching and dryness of the throat after drinking Gatorade could be due to an ingredient sensitivity or allergy. Some people may be allergic to one or more of the components in the sports drink.

You can try drinking water or another hydrating beverage to alleviate the symptoms and avoid Gatorade for a while to see if the symptoms subside. You should see a doctor for proper evaluation and treatment if the symptoms persist or become severe.

As for your baby, if you are experiencing symptoms, it is best to consult your pediatrician, as they can give you specific advice based on your baby's age, overall health, and medical history.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
