What Does Leakage During Pregnancy Mean?

Hi,
I am 35 weeks pregnant and I didn't take it as a big deal until I was talking to someone today. I was saying that since I've been 7 months I sometimes leak and it goes through my clothes abit. It was clear but I also had discharge from before my pregnancy so I just thought it was extra discharge or me peeing myself abit. But it didn't have a urine smell. It happens to me now even when I'm lying down. I'm abit sated because I've thrush before but when I found out I was pregnant they told me I had strip b, that I had to wait till my water broke so they could give me antibiotics. I'm just scared now that if it is a leak or tear in the sac would this be affecting the baby all this time?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

A discharge during pregnancy called leucorrhea is common and also considered normal to a certain extent. This added with the fact that you were diagnosed with a urinary infection could clearly explain the discharge, but as you are close to term it would be wise to get yourself examined.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
