My 9 year old son has been feeling chest pain, shortness of breath, random vomitting... we went to the doctors today, had an ekg that came back abnormal. The ekg said something about the left axis deviation. What does that mean??? He is not over weight, very active healthy little boy.
left axis deviation basically means increase in size or volume of left ventricle. it means there is some enlargement in left side of heart. however it can also be found if there is some problem in impulse conduction in the heart
