What Does Light Bleeding After Taking Misoprostol Indicate?

I am 34 years old. I used MTP Kit twice before this time. Firstly I used in August 2011 and then in first week of March 2012. Both time it worked. This time i took 1 tablet of Mifepristone 200 mg on September 11, 2012 at 10:45 am and then on September 12, 2012, I took 2 tablets of Misoprostol 200mg orally and 2 tablets of Misoprostol 200mg vaginally at 11:00 am. At around 2:00 bleeding started, the flow was not much and since night bleeding is very low, it is almost like a spotting since today's morning. Does this mean that complete abortion has not been done and now it has to be done surgically or can it happen after some time. please tell what should i do now?

Hello dear,i understand your concern.In my opinion bleeding usually starts after a few hours of intake of misoprostol.But as there is just spotting wait for a day more to see if the bleeding increases.If the bleeding does not increase and spotting continues it suggests incomplete abortion.Then you might need a surgical procedure called D&C to remove the conceptional products.So wait and check for the period.Also i suggest you to take medicine for termination of pregnancy under doctor supervision to avoid complications like incomplete abortion,heavy bleeding etc.Hope this helps.
