What Does Light Spotting And Cramps After Using Abortion Kit Indicate?

Hi , i was 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant when i was given methotrexate . After 4 days as prescribed I inserted 4 misoprodtol pills as far as i could into my vagina. I had very little cramps and very light spotting . The day after i repeated the whole thing again ( 4 vaginally inserted misoprostols) . Still no heavy bleeding and very mild cramping . Did i do the miscarriage?

Hello,

As you have not observed any significant bleeding after doing the procedure, chances of it being incomplete abortion cannot be denied. My advice to you is, consult a gynecologist regarding this. Along with physical examination she might ask you to get an ultrasound examination done for more clarity. If its incomplete abortion then she will guide you with appropriate management so that further complications can be avoided.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
