My pregnancy period is about nine months. The ultrasound test results(baby) said all OK.But in the report it was written "Liquor is not adequate"what does it's mean? What precautions i have to take?Actually i haven't seen this sentence in my report at that time.Kindly give the answer/solution as soon.
Liquor is not adequate means you have oligohydramnios. It is a condition in pregnancy characterized by less amount of amniotic fluid. There are many causes of oligohydramnios. It is most common during the last trimester. Low levels of amniotic fluid can cause complications during labor. It may lower baby's movements. So,baby need close monitoring with frequent ultrasounds and nonstress tests,as well as biophysical profiles and Doppler studies. You should count fetal kick and watch baby's movement. Hope i have answered your query.
