What Does Low HCG Levels During Pregnancy Indicate?

I went to the doctor on the 27 and the told me I was 5 weeks and 6 days my hcg level was 6084 but the told it was still to early to hear a heart beat so come back I went back yesterday n my hcg level drop 490 which Made it be 5594 is it possible that it could go back up or I m I going to lose my baby

Hcg (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) is a hormone secreted by placenta after implantation and it can be detected in some pregnancy, but such hormone can be produced by other structures in the human system or animal system which could produce the Hcg. Presence of Hcg can indicate the conception but may not confirm the pregnancy of gestation life of a fetus. To confirm the pregnancy or to know the gestational life ultrasonography is the only test can be done.
