What Does Low Grade Fever Along With Backache Indicate?

A 25 y/o male, has had low grade fever for last 3 days, sleeping most of past 3 days, strong back pain, has small red dots beginning to appear on back and now front torso. No appetite and doesn t seem to be improving. Could this possibly a chicken pox breakout? He s had significant case of chicken pox as a child and actually had been diagnosed with chicken pox a 2nd time with lesser symptoms as a child. Nothing else like it since then, but symptoms and blotchy skin seem to match this most closely. Could this be another outbreak?

hi mam/sir,your child had been on all the possible antibiotics that would cover almost all the disease causing bacteria.so we can be sure that no bacterial infection persists anywhere inher body.generally, viral illness is chronic and is not susceptible to antibiotics.i myself suffered for a month with fever and chills.just check and rule out the following to confirm it as viral fever.for my patients,i recommend the following :
1)is there any yellow discolouration of conjunctiva(jaundice)
2)peripheral blood smear is advised for malaria
3)blood test for typhoid
4)urine for culture and sensitivity
if all the above come to be negative,it is viral fever.treatment recommendations are :
1)it is a self limiting illness meaning that remission occurs by itself.
2)plenty of fluids are recommended.
3)tab.paracetamol 400mg oral every 6th hourly
4)observe for the appearance of any rash or exanthems.
hope my explanation clears your doubts.any further queries are welcome with pleasure.hope your child recovers as soon as possible.thank you.take care.bye.
