What Does Lower Abdominal Pain After Taking I-pill Indicate?

Hi, my friend consumed Ipill within 48 hrs of unprotected sex. She experienced bleeding after 3-4 days of consuming the pill. Also after 6-7 days she is complaining of pain /cramp in the lower abdomen for the past 3 days. Is there any reason to be worried? Please advise.

Hi I think it can be due to side effect of the high dose of hormones in I pill. She may get her periods again in few days. It can be due to some vaginal infection also. Get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist. She may need some antibiotic and antifungal drugs orally as well as vaginal to treat that. Hope it helps. For mow, she can take some medicines like mefenamic acid 500mg twice a day
