What Does Lower Back Pain, Vomiting And Dry Kin In Elderly Suggest?
I have been having lots of pains in my back and flanks for over a weak I do have lower back problems however I can t say that I have had the same pain in my flank area quite like this. I have vomited earlier today and find I have no desire to eat - I am trying to get liquid into me. I have had very itchy dry skin for a while but nothing noticeable for a couple of weeks. My face was a little puffy this afternoon but don t see that else where. I was at the Doctor yesterday but he did suggest a urine test. I am thinking I need to go back to check. I do have fuzzy memory ( have for sometime) but this could be age related. I am 56 next month
* As per my clinical experience, the back pain of low grade can be related to chronic osteoarthritis, osteoporosis or other age related disorders.
* Current concern of vomiting with difficulty to eat ( loss of appetite ) and swelling (puffiness ) over face, indicates possible urinary tract infection with kidney involvement ( which may provoke flank pain and altered physics ).
* The lab data with serum creatinine and urea levels with urine microscopy will reveal possible presence of white blood cells, any cast of clinical significance and other pathology.
