What Does Lower Right Abdominal Pain That Later Turns Into Numbness Indicate?

Ok this may sound weird but I woke up early this morning with severe pain to my lower right abdomen and it wouldn't go away. So I relieved my bladder and laid down and it still wouldn't go away. I finally just passed out and when I woke up a couple hours later, the pain was still there. Now that I've been up and walking around the pain turned into numbness.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
Thank You for contacting HCM.

Most common cause of persistent pain in right lower abdomen is because of appendix. Is there history of nausea and vomiting? I would suggest you to visit hospital one to confirm if it is a muscular problem or pain of acute appendicitis. In latter case immediate surgical consultation would be required.

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow
up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us.
Wishing you good health.
