This is my uncle s MRI report, please go through it and reply.Thank you. Thecal indentation in L5-S1, and anterior marginal osteophytes in L2 L3 &L4 and L4 -L5 minimal diffuse bulge.bulge . no nerve root compression. Can it be managed with physiotherapy or needs any other treatment?he has lower back ache ,he is 43 year old ALL survivor.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Marginal osteophytes causing bone pain what has been noted in MRI scan right now could be managed by analgesics and physiotherapy as there is no nerve compression. However, since he is ALL patient and might be on some form of treatment, it would be advisable to have a regular follow-up at least once in 3 months. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
