hi am 29, got married 5months ago and i noticed a whitish discharge in my pants and back pains, i thought i was pregnant in the first 2 months but found out i was not, i then was asked to do a swap test which i did. the result was a "mild growth of staphylococcus" which i ve been ask to treat with cyprotab which I did but I still see it. pls what should I do now.

Thanks for writing in.

Cipro tab is ciprofloxacin which is an antibiotic. It might be that you are infected with a yeast infection also. Yeast are fungal in nature and are easily treated by antifungals like clotrimaziole. Please discuss with your doctor and take anti fungal treatment if necessary. Also wear dry cotton innerwear and wash your genital region with warm water twice daily and keep it dry. This will prevent infections from occurring.
