What Does Mild Mucosal Thickening In The Below MRI Report Suggest?
My MRI report: mild asymmetrical prominence of the right lateral ventricle as compared to the left, mild mucosal thickening is noted in the bilateral ethmoidal air cells, Bilateral IAC, mastoids, 7th-8th nerve complexs and inner ears do not show any significant abnormality.
It can be a sign of chronic sinusitis. There is no significant change and only conservative treatment is required. Consult an ENT specialist and he will direct you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family physician
