What Does Mildly Enlarged Heart, Mild Linear Lung Scar Indicate?
I was just diagnosed with a mildly enlarged heart and mild linear lung scar in the apices. I don t have any other medical conditions. I feel that I am in really good shape and health. I don t have high BP or bad cholesterol. I workout, eat right for the most part. What does this all mean. Marty

Increase Heart size on x ray chest is known as Cardiomegaly.This should be carefully assessed on 2 dimensional echocardiography to rule out organic heart disorders particularly of the valvular apparatus.In the absence of any associated co morbid medical conditions,this condition need not be treated in asymptomatic people.Regular semiannual heart scan is needed.Consult your cardiologist for further queries.
